Damages in buildings are often complex and unique for each specific building. Even if a few types of damages are very common, such as leakages, mold and cracks, their cause is often unique and specific for the building they occur in. Therefor we conduct these investigations with an open view and flexible approach, allowing us to investigate the issue step by step and without limitations. In most cases at least one site visit will be conducted, and a report will be issued.
Cracks can have a range of causes and can indicate everything from solely an aesthetical issue to severe structural issues. Our in-house structural engineer has 20 years of experience with these type of investigations.
Issues with water and moisture are often caused by direct leakages or condensation issues due to poor insulation or indoor air conditions. We investigate the cause and propose improvements and repairs.
Occurence of mold can be visual, but more often happens in hidden spaces, making it hard to discover without destructive testing or sampling. We can provide dust sampling to verify precense of mold and even address our established collaborations with Icelands experts in the field to investigate these issues to the bottom.

Should we, during our visual inspection, identify the need for additional investigations, we can either conduct these investigations or assist in finding suitable contractors that can conduct the type of investigation needed. We also have established collaborations with external partners, allowing us to involve the best experts in Iceland.
